Our Founder's Bio
As a kid, I got to watch my parents learn (often the hard way) how to run a successful small business. They were faced with difficult challenges, external and internal, but ultimately built a thriving, successful business. Working with their CPA/business advisor made all the difference for them. I've always been impressed with their determination and ingenuity - qualities I find in my clients today, as well.
My early experiences lit a fire in me to learn all I could about the complexities of the business world, and use that knowledge to help my fellow small-business owners thrive.
I received a Bachelor's degree in Accounting & Economics from the University of Oregon, and became a CPA in the State of Washington in 1992. After 4 years in public accounting, I joined PACCAR Inc, where I spent 13 years in financial management, process improvement, marketing and business development. After building this broad foundation of experience, I founded New Paradigm Financial Group in 2005.
I'm a firm believer in the synergy of strength - a team is much stronger if each member is operating in their area of strength. With our team of experts taking care of the financial side of their business, our clients are free to operate in their strongest areas, resulting in more growth and profits - success!
